Presidents Profiles — 2004-2022

Beginning with a contour drawing of either George Washington or Abraham Lincoln's iconic profile's, I apply layers of acrylic paint. Through a process of adding and subtracting the paint unexpected surprises surface. The outcome is an abstraction of the original profile image.
